Anne McCracken is an illustrator and calligraphy artist, also known as Swirls of Violet. Anne earned her BA in Art from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, and spent a handful of years living and traveling in Europe and many more working as an artist, illustrator and calligrapher in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Her love of nature and travel is what inspires her personal style, which can be described as delicate and realistic with a touch of nostalgia. She specializes in botanical, nature, and food illustration, and enjoys tying illustration and lettering together into an intricate design.
